The pair of maps depict how the central library layout plan changed in 20 years.
Overall, it can be seen that, the central library witnessed several changes, although rooms are almost same compared to previous layout but some facilities added, eradicated as well as some services re-organized.
Looking at the 20-years before map, 4 rooms and entrance as well as two table-chair are showed in the middle of the ground. In top row, there are two room for basically multimedia purpose like showcasing CDs, videos, pc games and in another top right corner room is used for books of children. In the "+"-shaped corridor area, adult fiction and non-fiction books are placed in left and right side. In bottom row there are Reading room for newspaper and magazines and Enquiry desk.
Looking at the present library layout plan, it is spotted several changes. Tables from the middle of the layout has been removed. The first row's left corner room is expanded and it's role is also changed along with furniture setup. Multi media option is no more there, for now it will be used for Story telling events. Top, bottom right and bottom left corner room turned into Lecture room, Cafe and computer respectively. In the middle of the corridor, left side is now using for all reference books and right side for some extra service like Adult fiction, information desk and self-service machines.
