Describe a picture/photograph of you that you like

You should say:

  • Where it was taken/drawn
  • When it was taken/drawn
  • Who took/drew it
  • And explain how you felt about it

One of my favorite photographs was taken during my time as a software engineer in my previous job. It was captured on a football field where my colleagues and I used to play weekly. We would hire the field for a few hours every week to unwind and have fun.

At the beginning, I was extremely shy and hesitant because I didn’t know how to play football at all. However, one of my colleagues, Mohon Vai, was very encouraging and supportive. He constantly motivated me to participate and try my best. Gradually, I gained confidence and started enjoying the game.

One day, I managed to score a really good goal during one of our matches. That moment felt special, and I decided to capture it. I took a photo that achievement—a picture of me celebrating the goal on the field.

That photograph holds a special place in my heart because it symbolizes how I overcame my shyness and stepped out of my comfort zone. I like it so much that I’ve kept it as my Instagram profile picture ever since. Every time I look at it, it reminds me of that positive transformation and those fun times with my colleagues.
